Kerrie's Two Cents on Randy and Talisyn's Wedding

After sorting through all 949 photos from the Belize trip and choosing my favorites, I discovered that Hart had already posted something about the trip and that he and I chose many of the same photos! I, of course, want to give more detail about the wedding and the people and share a few more photos from the actual ceremony.

Randy and Hart were roommates their first year of college at Macalester. Dan, Dave and Andy lived on the same floor as Hart and Randy and they all became friends. Collectively, the five of them are referred to as "The Geeks." It is remarkable that 11 years after they met, they are all still good enough friends to travel to Belize for a wedding.

Randy and Talisyn got married on Jan. 15, the eight-year anniversary of their first date. Dan officiated the ceremony, Andy was the groomsman, and Hart and Dave took pictures. Laura, who became good friends with Talisyn at Macalester and has been dating Dave forever, was the bridesmaid.

The ceremony was beautiful, both in content at location. Both Randy and Talisyn's fathers gave speeches during the ceremony, prompting many of the guests to cry.

At the end of the ceremony, Talisyn and Randy were presented with butterflies that were just beginning to fly. In this photo, Dan looks on as the butterflies flap their wings.
